NAMI Connections
Online Connections
NAMI Nebraska Connections, a online meeting place where you can participate with peers privately and share the issues going on in your life. Once you join, you can be a part of our online meetings. There is no charge for these meetings and they are provided as a service by NAMI Nebraska. NAMI Connection meetings do not use a clinical model. We discuss problems and trauma to our diagnosis. Because we are free from that clinical model, we can discuss what a good day looks like also and learn from each other, yet, the support group model that NAMI Nebraska Connection uses is found to be clinically effective. For those in recovery and would like to participate in peer support groups in a more comfortable and private setting, please click here. |
![]() Connections groups are free weekly recovery meetings for people living with mental illness in which they are able to learn from each other's experience, share coping strategies, and other encouragement and understanding while on the road to recovery. Each group meets for 90 minutes, follows a flexible agenda, and is led by a team of trained individuals who are in recovery themselves. There is no cost to attend these meetings.
